Hey! I'm Lucas Dietrich, born in 1994 and raised in my hometown Münster, Germany. My friends and family would describe me as someone close to a perfectionist. I like clean, organized and minimalistic places and workspaces. I'm a creative introvert and see myself as very honest, rational and thoughtful. One standout trait of mine is that I'm always optimistic, which is a trait I had to learn, but now I'm being admired for this. I'm an analyst and a problem solver who adores to learn new skills in my personal or professional life.

Work

Early on in my career I was gaining experience and pleasure in working on websites, creatively and in the development. Currently I'm working as an UX Engineer at shopware AG. I develop new ideas for our website, help to further improve and expand the website's code base, functionality and usability. Despite my neophobia I really adore to experiment with other creative work like video production, animations, illustrations or even writing for books (update: I've written and published my first ever book). Since 2021 I'm getting more into app design as well and loving it!
